Dobko, John, entered eternal rest on May 31, 2010. He was born February 3, 1920 in the Ukraine. He brought his family to America in 1951 where he provided a wonderful life for them by working at Highway Concrete Products in Saddle Brook for over 30 years. He lived in Clifton for 42 years, and was a faithful parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, before moving to Ohio in 1993 where he resided until his death.
He is survived by Rozalia, his loving wife of 63 years, son Peter and his wife Karen Dobko of Clifton, daughter Irene Dobko of North Canton Ohio, grandchildren Nicole Turi, Kevin Dobko, Joshua, Jordan, Jeremy, Lauren and Evan Pogorelec and great-grandchildren Stephanie, Nicholas, Natalie and Steven Turi and Joseph Pogorelec.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church c/o Restoration Fund. Always on our minds and forever in our hearts. We love you!
